Last Friday, it was that time again: Our LM Connect 2026 was on! This year's summer party offered a successful mix of strategic outlook, professional exchange, sporting action and an atmospheric evening programme. Here you will find a brief summary, the best pictures and our highlights.
Strategic outlook and exciting insights
The day kicked off with our board meeting. An open exchange provided current updates and an exciting strategic outlook for the times ahead. This was immediately followed by inspiring presentations from within our own ranks: colleagues shared valuable insights into their current projects and delivered a wealth of inspiration. It's always impressive to see how much deep expertise our team possesses. After so much professional input, it was time for a refuel: a shared lunch offered the perfect opportunity to further consider the morning's topics while also gathering new energy for the afternoon.
AI League: Between Code, Human Foosball and Ice Cream Van
Refreshed and re-energised, things got sporty and competitive! The second matchday of our internal AI League was on the agenda. All departments compete against each other here, mixed into seven teams, and develop AI agents as well as AI-powered product solutions. First, the teams presented their current progress and showed how their projects – some already developed into complete solutions – have evolved.
But as is known, theory is only half the battle: in the subsequent „human foosball“ tournament, full physical commitment was required. Here, it wasn't algorithms that counted, but quick reactions and real teamwork. An ice cream van on site provided the necessary refreshment and an additional boost of motivation, catering to both players and spectators.
Grill buffet, cocktails and a real summer feeling
Promptly at 6:00 PM, we switched to party mode. The grand barbecue buffet, organised by Philipp Büning, left nothing to be desired. With cool drinks from the cocktail bar in hand, we brought the evening to a relaxed close. There was laughter, cross-departmental chats and toasts to our shared successes – an all-round successful end to an intense day.
Conclusion
LM Connect 2026 has once again exemplified what defines our company culture: we are passionate about working on innovative solutions – and at the same time, we know how to celebrate successes together.
