Microsoft Defender Application Guard<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The Application Guard for Edge<\/strong> is part of the Windows Defender<\/strong> for Windows 10 and Windows 11, which allows the end user to call up a secure, so-called \"virtualised\" environment within their own browser. This separate environment is detached from the actual Windows operating system and the browser. This means additional protection when surfing the internet.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

In terms of configuration, a distinction is made between Standalone mode and managed mode<\/strong>. In the Standalone mode<\/strong> we can offer this feature to users as an option so that they can use it when they need it. In the Managed mode<\/strong> we can go one step further and automatically open all untrusted pages in the Application Guard, i.e. all those that we have not explicitly placed on an Allow list.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
