Like Rome, these companies have grown over the years and have adapted to the ever-changing demands of its environment. As a result, heterogeneity of systems and the coexistence of different operating systems, data bases or mail systems are the rule rather than the exception. In such a surrounding, it is important to make use of both experts in these technologies and also generalists, who can maintain an overview. In addition, there are integrators - highly-qualified counterparts, who connect worlds with their know-how – and who are of considerable particular value to players in the IT business.
Precisely due to these reasons, LM IT Services can offer a broad know-how spectrum to our partners. Technologies
Of course, we always adhere ourselves to the respective certification programs of the developers. Whether training, consulting, support or software development - we can support you exclusively with co-workers, who are certified by the respective system developers.
Additionally, we, along with our co-workers place great emphasis on utilizing the know-how of a range of manufacturers’. In the case of a Microsoft Windows server specialist, he will broaden his capabilities by acquiring knowledge of Novell, Unix or Linux. A Microsoft Exchange specialist will extend his know-how by familiarizing himself with Lotus Notes or Novell GroupWise. Therefore our colleagues are able to move securely in heterogeneous IT landscapes and are definetely the first choice for migration projects.
Methods
The implementation of technological know-how requires suitable methods. Success can only be attained through professional project management which requires a deep understanding of the customer processes as well as the use of suitable procedural models. Understandably, this knowledge of methods details the second important component in the qualification of our co-workers.
Soft skills
Last but not least, technological know-how and methodology knowledge have little value when soft skills are insufficient, as this may result in a project being jeopardised. Development of creative solutions, open communication, exchange of inspired ideas, conflict management - are all abilities, which our colleagues must show repeatedly when working on projects. Therefore, we highly value these abilities and search for them during the selection and qualification of our team.
